BROTHERS TOM & CONAN SKYRME

Tom Skyrme, a London-based composer and sound artist. 

He studied Digital Music & Sound Art at the University of Brighton, where he became fascinated by the intersection between sound and music. His final degree piece explored the importance of emotional content in sound, as is traditional in music, earning him a nomination for an award and a BA Degree with First Class Honours.

He is known for his work under the alias "Swim Mountain." Praised by The Guardian, “six tracks just [didn't] seem enough”. Critics like Indie Accent and Stereofox praised its innovative, textured sound.

Featuring on Tourist's single "Sleepwalking" as well as co-produced and mixing the 2024 album Memory Morning

He has also worked as a composer for films (The Fall Guy, Bullet Train, The Wasp, The Marsh King’s Daughter, Rough Night, Fist Fight, Lift, My Spy, Money Monster) working extensively at Hans Zimmer's studio in LA. 

Composing for many commercials with his Skyrmish partner and brother, Conan, composing music and sound designing for influential brands such as Nike, Coca-Cola, Adidas, Google, to name a few.

He began his musical career in the indie rock world signing a record deal with Top Shelf Records and creating a following on the Boston music scene before moving to Los Angeles to begin writing music for picture.

Together with Tom they have composed music for some of the world’s biggest brands and have gone on to win a Gold Cyber Lion at the Cannes Lions Festival.
